Who Should Attend?
Each Institute is especially designed for teachers at middle and high school levels––especially those currently teaching AP World History and/or Human Geography, and those preparing for or considering offering these courses in the future. These teachers will find this experience just what they need.
These workshops are also valuable for those teachers who teach world history and/or geography outside the AP framework. Experienced teachers can retool and rethink how they are presenting the material in their classrooms. New teachers will work with experienced colleagues to identify skills expected of students and specific topics for inclusion in their curriculum.
Graduate Credit?
Missouri teachers who complete Institute requirements and pay a $25 registration fee will receive three hours of free graduate credit from Southeast Missouri State University. Out of state teachers should contact Megan Moncure at mmoncure@csd.org for further information.
