Technology: Classes: College Graduate Credit

College Graduate Credit

Graduate credit is available through Lindenwood University for classes taken at CSD at an additional cost of $60 per credit hour, payable to "Lindenwood University". Requirements for graduate credit:

  • Attend class
  • Develop a lesson plan that incorporates the technology learned
  • Write a reflection explaining how technology enhances your lesson plan
  • Sample Rubric for lesson plan

Two hours of graduate credit will be given for:

  • Creating Technology Rich Lesson s to Increase Student Achievement
  • Teacher Timesavers: FREE Online Resources
  • Movie-Making in the Classroom: Creating Digital Stories and Photo Essays

One hour of graduate credit will be given for:

  • Using MS PowerPoint in the Classroom
  • Using MS Word in the Classroom
  • Using MS Excel in the Classroom
  • Using MS Publisher in the Classroom
  • Creating SMART Board Lessons to engage and Motivate Students
  • Cross-Curricular Lessons Using Concept Mapping
  • Classroom Projects Using Digital Cameras
  • Online Street Smarts (Internet Safety)
  • Empowering Students with Podcasting
  • Differentiating Instruction with Discovery Streaming (formerly unitedstreaming)
  • Videoconferencing for Boundless Learning
  • 21st Century Learning Tools: Online Communities
  • Evaluating Student Work with Differentiated Scoring

No graduate credit available for Transforming Learning with a SMARTboard, Using Digital Media in the Classroom (Featuring Google Earth), Transforming Learning with a Promethean Activboard, Editing Digital Images Using Photoshop Elements 4.0, Moodle training, Using iPhoto, Using iMovie, Using GarageBand 3, Using iWeb, Using iDVD 6, and Using Leopard.
